FAQ
?How do I remind a signer?
Use ⋮ → Reminder
Open Documents, find the file, click ⋮, choose Reminder. The recipient gets a fresh email with a secure link.
?Can I organize by teams or clients?
Categories
Yes. Create Categories (e.g., by company/department) and move documents via the ⋮ menu.
?What happens after I send?
Flow
If you enabled I need to sign myself, you sign first. Then other recipients receive OTP-secured emails to sign. Status updates in real time in Documents and the Dashboard. After all signers finish, click Finalize to lock and distribute copies.
?Why is my document “Expired”?
Expiry date passed
The contract’s expiry date has passed. Reopen via ⋮ and send a new version or extend the expiry in the Contract Expiry section.
?Do recipients need an account?
No account required
No — signers receive an email with an OTP-secured link to view and sign the document in their browser.
?Is my data secure?
2FA + OTP
We use email OTP for recipients and support Two-Factor Authentication for your account. Enable 2FA in Account Settings.
?Can I self-sign only?
Yes
Toggle I need to sign myself in the Add Document dialog, add no other recipients, place your signature and Send.
?Can I control signer order?
Sequential signing
Yes where enabled: set a sequence for recipients so each is notified only after the previous signer completes. (If disabled in your plan, all receive the request at once.)
?How do I change or remove an expiry?
Edit or clear date
Open the file via ⋮ → Edit (or in Contract Expiry) and update the date. Clearing it removes the reminder and calendar entry.
